Torrey Pine Panorama

Torrey Pine - Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, just north of San Diego. When this image was made it was just before sunset. The sun was behind a thin blanket of clouds making the light soft and subdued.

The Torrey pine is a rare pine species. It is a critically endangered species growing only in coastal San Diego County, and on Santa Rosa Island, California.
